New extravergin olive oil
There is great excitement in our kitchen and in all the kitchens of our small village : the new olive oil just arrived. It’s like the excitement for a new born baby, everybody -children, parents, grandparents, friends ,waiting for…for tasting it…
It was stone crushed this morning and now it’s here on our table.
We toast the bread, sprinkle salt on it and drizzle the new olive oil on the slice of bread.
In the bottle the oil is of deep green color with fruity aroma and tasting it has a bit of a spicy bite:wonderful.It will maintain this spicy bite for one or two months but it will be good all year round.
This year has been a great one for the oil !!!
